On ocassion of the game’s 20th anniversary, Epic Games is giving away the critically acclaimed 1998 FPS title for free. You can download Unreal Gold from either GOG or Steam free of charge and this offer will last for the next couple of days.
For those unaware this “Gold” version bundles the original game with the Return To Na Pali mission pack for the complete Unreal package.
So grab it quick to experience this revolutionary shooter that was a milestone for it’s genre in terms of visuals back then. It may look and feel a bit dated now, but this game cemented Epic’s Unreal Engine as one of the most versatile and popular game engines out there, which is being used to this day.
