E3’s right around the corner, and as usual, the rumor-mill is churning at it’s peak. This time it’s info about the upcoming Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch.
Initially posted on 4chan in April (yes, it’s apparently NOT an April fool’s joke) and later reiterated by a couple other separate sources, the details are as follows:
The games supposedly are remakes of the Gameboy Color title, Pokemon Yellow and are called Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu Edition and Pokemon Let’s Go! Eevee Edition (title featured in pic below). Various improvements throughout the franchise will make a comeback (like Pokerides from Sun & Moon) and no HMs, plus heavy online functionality as well as intergration with the AR mobile spinoff Pokemon GO.
The two other sources mentioned previously are BasedAF Media on Twitter who agrees with the 4chan leak above and longtime leaker Emily Rogers (via her personal blog), saying that the game will be announced by the end of this month.
